I am fortunate to work in a school community that encourages innovation and inquiry! My enthusiastic and creative first graders love to learn, play, explore, and take risks. They enjoy using whatever materials they can get their hands on to build structures and engage in imaginative play to enhance their learning and understanding. Children are encouraged to take ownership over their learning and self-advocate by discovering the kind of learner they are and their learning preferences.
