I work in a Title I school where most of my students come from extreme poverty. Many of my children are Special Ed or English Language Learners and do not have any books at home to read. Their families struggle to feed their children and do not have any money left over to by them books. My students want to learn how to read, but it is difficult when all my books are used and torn and written on.
