It is our priority to keep our students safe to the best of our ability. The hands-free sanitation station helps to keep hands sanitized without contact. The humidifier helps to circulate clean air in our media center throughout the day.
These items will continue to be used in our media center to keep our students and faculty/staff safe!”

Funded Nov 9, 2016Thank you so much for your donations to make Mommy and Me Literacy come to life. Your donations have allowed me to encourage students and parents on the importance of reading.
Students and parents were able to participate in art, fine motor, and sensory activities, stories, singing and dancing. Mommy and Me Literacy has helped to enhance family relationships and allow students to think outside of the box.

iCreate
Funded Oct 20, 2014Thank you so much for donating the Goldie Blox, K'Nex, Legos, and rubber bands to our school's media center. Because of you, I have been able to bring the MakerSpace program to life at our school. The students have been very excited about having these materials in the library! One student said, "The library is fun!"
The students have truly enjoyed playing with passion and purpose. The students are reading stories then creating characters and objects from the story with Legos and Goldie Blox; they are using their imagination by creating objects with the K'Nex, then writing about them; and students are able to give how to instructions by creating the rubber band bracelets.
This project has allowed me teach using small groups. I feel as if the students are learning a lot more since I am working with them in small groups. Not only are the students having fun but they are learning at the same time.
Again, thank you for your generosity!”

Funded Jul 8, 2010This is a small small token of my appreciation for your donation to my classroom. The students are truly enjoying the Time for Kids magazines. I have noticed that the students take time to read their magazines every chance they get. The activities in the magazine are amazing because they are helping the students think critically.
Each day before beginning our social studies lesson, I allow the students to discuss what article interested them the most and why. I have also noticed that I have more students who are participating in discussion. Seeing how my students are reacting to current events has truly placed a smile upon my face.
Without your donation, I would not have Time for Kids magazine in my classroom! Thank you for your generosity.”

Tiger Productions:Bringing Reading and Writing to Life
Funded Jun 14, 2010This is a small token of my appreciation for your generous donation to my classroom. The Pinnacles Studio software has really made reading and writing a lot of fun in my classroom. At our school, students participate in integrated arts each week by acting out plays, poems, etc. Also, these activities are integrated into our movie making in the classroom.
I have noticed that the students have gain more confidence in reading and writing. My struggling readers and writers are no longer ashamed to share their works with their classmates.
Due to all of the budgets cuts at our school, purchasing this software would have been impossible. Thank you so much for your generosity because our reading and writing is now coming to life!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Becote
