I am a Computer Science teacher at a public high school that serves a high proportion of socioeconomically disadvantaged and minority students. I also facilitate a school Girls Who Code club every week after school. Unfortunately, Computer Science is not currently a core subject in California, so my classes are ineligible for State and Federal funds.
