  • Hard Working Reading Support Students!

    Thank you for your contributions to our classroom! Having snacks and bean bag chairs for my students has increased student participation and a sense of community within the classroom. Students feel safe asking for food, and in turn attendance has improved as has the overall desire to participate and learn.

    Students within the school community but who are not my students also come by for snacks when they are hungry, or to take a short mental break and rest on the bean bag chairs. These feelings of safety have allowed students to open up and connect with me, which has been a joy and I am grateful!”
