  • Supplies for Science

    My students loved the kits that we received from Donorschoose! Since we no longer have a budget to buy supplies in Science, any little bit helps!

    The thermometers are so neat, because for many of my students this is the first time using one! They have never seen one in real life. Many of them are used to just using digital, that to have one expand and contract in front of them is amazing! The chemical activity kit also thrilled my students! I wish I could show you how excited they were!

(Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) We encourage our students to value the following skills such as, perseverance, communication, collaboration, compassion, and honesty. We want our students to work Smarter Together, to develop and design projects that allow them to answer scientific question. I have participated in the following educational initiatives over the years. Wipro Science Education Fellowship (SEF) at UMASS Boston to foster leadership and teacher excellence, 2012-2015, Laying the Foundation Training Program for Science Teachers 2011-present,National Science Foundation Grant WIE STEM Team at Tufts University 2005-2008, RET program.
