For the 2019-2020 school year I am planning to implement a new way of teaching reading strategies using CAFE (comprehension, accuracy, fluency, and expand vocabulary). These carpet sit spot circles will be beneficial in our whole group time, small groups, and in individual reading times. I like them because they can easily be moved around the room and won’t get dirty by being walked on because we can pick them up and stack when not in use. They are also a great way to provide flexible seating. These would also be great from my one to one conferences with students during reading.
