• Get Dirty Learning!

  My students were so excited to get our garden box today! They wanted to go straight out to our garden and plant vegetables. We will plant lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers. Most of my students have never planted their own vegetables before and are very excited to learn!

  Thank you for providing us with gloves and tools for our brand new garden! Now we have enough tools for all our students to be able to garden at the same time!

• Calendar Skills for All Grades!

  Thank you so much for our calendar! My students are excited about having a calendar! Now we can see when big events are happening in our classroom. They are excited about the different cut outs and how we can make patterns using the days!

  We are also very excited about having a nice whiteboard! We can use this for small group centers and whole group learning. We are also excited about this whiteboard being magnetic! We can use our magnetic fraction strips and sight words to help us learn!

• After School Fun

  My students were so excited when our After School Fun box arrived! They are excited to create their own puzzles in our after school program. The pump for our glue will make it easier when the students are working independently. The accordion books will be used for our biography project at the end of the year. I can not wait to read their own books about a famous person!

• STEM and Art Supplies for After School

  My students were so excited when our STEM and art supplies came in! We have an after school program that runs everyday. Our students needed these supplies to allow our programs to be engaging and exciting. They are very excited to dive into these STEM and art projects!

• Doodle Here, Doodle There, Doodle EVERYWHERE!

  My students were so excited to get our doodlers in the mail! They are excited to be able to write in 3D. Spelling out their spelling words have never been so much fun! When learning is fun students are engaged and learning! They will be able to make countless projects with our new doodler! • STEM and Art Materials for After School Program

  My students were so excited to open the box and see all the STEM materials to be used in our after school program. Many students ask why they are learning a certain skill. These materials, straws, spaghetti, cups, marshmallows, toothpicks, and coffee filters allow students to apply new knowledge to real world situations. They are excited to get to build towers and bridges!

• Robot Club With No Robots!

  My students were so excited when they received these robots! We have had robot club since the beginning of the year in hopes that we would be able to actually code real robots one day! This day came thanks to you! Coding is a language that all students should know and master. These robots allow students to learn this language and apply it in a fun and interactive way!

  My students were so excited when our box arrived! My students love going around the room and working. Now that is possible thanks to our new clipboards! In our after school program, our students love making slime out of glue! They are having so much fun with our new materials!

• Flexible Seating

  Every morning my students have morning work to complete. Before we received these magnets, they were put in a bin, now we can hang them right on our board! These magnets will come in handy throughout the year for many other things as well!

  My students were so excited to get these chairs! We have some other flexible seating options in the classroom and this will add to our collection! With these seats, more students are able to work comfortably throughout the classroom!

• Laminate This, Laminate That

  Funded Nov 28, 2017

  My students were very excited to get a package in the mail today! We received our other donors choose project of our laminating machine and we were waiting on the pouches to get started on our class projects. Students will be creating Christmas presents for their parents to treasure forever. These laminating pouches will allow this to happen!

  Our students will now be able to use center cards over and over again without the cards being destroyed due to wear and tear. My students have a writing prompt every month. Now we can laminate these pieces of work and create a book to treasure forever.
