  • Let’s Stay Connected

    This year was extremely challenging, as I had to keep adapting to knew challenges. Classes were scheduled back-to-back, with no breaks in between. I also needed to work with many different co-teachers, planning and teaching had an entire new twist this year.

    This project allowed me to have a successful year with my students remotely. It made teaching remotely a lot easier, as I had a reliable keyboard and camera for our daily meetings. I am not sure how I would have made it through this year without them.

  • ELA Rules... Help My NYC Students Thrive!

    Thank you for making these supplies available to my students. These seem like small, basic supplies, but they will make a huge impact. We're just waiting for in person learning to begin using them! Now everyone will have their own supplies to write and highlight with. This will help them achieve their academic goals by allowing them to chunk information. Additionally, this will help my students lead to independent mastery by allowing them to take notes and write on paper, rather then only utilizing digital resources. This will also teach them transferable skills across different units and subjects.”

My students miss being in the classroom with their peers. These supplies will allow them to learn in a safe environment in the classroom in order to access the curriculum. They will be able to focus on their academic material and not on the supplies that their parent(s)/guardian(s) are not able to provide for them. They will be able to benefit in the classroom or remote learning. By having access to Teachers Pay Teachers, my students will benefit from numerous Graphic Organizers, in order to differentiate instructions and access the curriculum. My students already expressed their concerns for being back in the classroom, and this project will not only help enrich their experiences, but allow them to feel safe while doing so.
