• The Dog Ate My Homework

  Words cannot express how thankful I am to have received this donation. My students were extremely thankful to receive a new homework folder and the materials to take home.

  Thank you so much for the generous donation! We have received our small table and stools and are super excited to begin our small grouping. Opening the boxes, I felt like a kid on Christmas morning!

  Thanks to you, my students and I now have a place to gather. Being able to pull a small group of students to a separate location in the room will greatly improve their ability to focus on the material being taught as well as improve my ability to gauge their current levels of understanding and quickly readjust the direction of the lesson if necessary.

• Have You Heard How Sharp We Are?

  Words cannot begin to describe how thankful I am for people like you. My students were super happy when we received the boxes, they all wanted to sharpen their pencils. Having two pencil sharpeners and unlimited pencils is such a luxury!! Thank you so much!!! We assigned two pencil sharpeners to ensure the sharpeners last us a pretty long time.

  Words cannot express how thankful I am for people like you. When the Cricut arrived I did not know what to do with myself! lol, I was so excited, felt like a kid on Christmas morning.

  Thank you so much for providing me with a Cricut for my classroom. I am able to do a lot of projects with my class!! I am so excited to learn about all the cool things I can do with it in my classroom. I was able to personalize the students' pencil boxes, I was able to create letters for my bulletin boards, and I am already planning Christmas gifts (bookmarks and cups). Thanks to you the possibilities are endless!

  My students are going to be able to complete their very own first publishing book thanks to your contributions. My students are delighted that they have all of the materials to write their thoughts and bring their illustrations to life. Not only will my students use these materials for this publishing book, but also for everyday classwork and homework.

  Believe it or not, they had never had an actual binder for their homework. They were used to the regular plastic folders. They thought only students in Middle school or high school could get them. The students were Sooo excited!! They felt grown! and started acting mature.

• Face Masks for Fabulous Students

  Thank you so much for your generous donations. With COVID masks policies changing everyday my students still wear their masks. Our district does not require masks anymore, although they are encouraged. My students have mentioned they do not feel comfortable being without a mask yet. They do not feel safe.

  All of my students have been wearing their nice masks everyday, they even ask if they can take one to their younger siblings.

  Thanks to your donations my students will have these awesome prizes to keep them focused and motivated to complete all of their assignments. All of these incentives are high interest, all of the kids wanted it. They cannot wait until our Friday's raffle. They want me to do a raffle for anything and everything. Homework, kindness, spelling tests, there are many ways they can earn these items.

  Thank you so much for the generous donation. My students and I are forever grateful to you. Having a color printer is essential in the classroom and thanks to you we have one now. No need to be asking my neighbor teacher to let me print a few pages in black and white.

  My students were super excited to be able to print in color. "Miss Flores, can I add a picture to my essay?" one of my students said. Thanks to you now I could say yes to them because not only are we able to print, but we are able to print in color!

  Who would think that things such as a printer and ink can make people so happy?

• Step Into Reading

  I am extremely grateful for your generous donations. You should have seen my students' eyes when they walked into the classroom and the saw the new book bins. Their eyes were full of joy! "Wow! Miss, we got all of those?" one of my readers said. They are super enthusiastic about reading them. "Miss, miss, can I read one of the new books,?" my students exclaimed. Before I put the books by levels I gave my students a chance to explore those books and skim through them. Each group got a few minutes to look at our new additions. They were so excited and they cannot wait for next week so they can switch their old books and start reading the new ones.
