  • Let's Flex!

    Funded Nov 29, 2023

Thank you for your generosity. The flex seating is amazing and my students were beyond excited! This project included an item for every student with the chair bands for the active feet, wobble cushions for their chairs, wobble seats, and the balancing balls. My class insisted on helping to open the boxes and to setup the flex seating. They even came up with a system, on their own, to share the different options. Through rotations, every student was able to enjoy the variety of flex seating options.

The flex seating has helped my students to release pent up energy in a non-distracting way while they learn and complete assignments at their desks.”

  • Class Set of Headphones

    Funded Oct 29, 2023

My students were beyond excited and grateful for the headphones that they recieved. Headphones are not provided by the school and many parents were unable to supply them. Additionally, many that were provided, broke quickly. These headphone were built to last!

They needed headphones for their computer assignments. Our school district uses computer based programs to support the lessons in the classroom, these include: Lexia, Edmentum, and Zearn. We also have a free online tutoring service that many students use, called FEV tutoring. Lastly, students need headphones for Canvas lessons that include videos, which supports their independent learning while I hold small groups.

These have benefitted our classroom in many ways. Thank you for your generosity.”

  • Classroom Achievement

    Funded Oct 11, 2023

Thank you so much for your generosity. Your donation helped me to motivate my students to make safe and responsible choices both inside and outside of the classroom throughout the school year.

They always looked forward to earning the great prizes each week. My students thoroughly enjoyed having plenty of options to choose from. I will say that they went through the edible prizes the quickest! You definitely cannot go wrong with M&Ms, fruit snacks, or Cheez-Its.

Although the snacks went the fastest, they did very much enjoy the different colored ball point pens, card games, and silly scent marker as well.

I couldn't have achieved this without your help. Thank you again.”

  • Recess Equipment

    Funded Sep 27, 2023

Thank you so much for your generosity.

Fifth grade is the last year students get to enjoy recess. With your generous donations, we were able to get a variety of outdoor recess equipment for out 5th graders to enjoy throughout the year.

Our students who enjoy team sports loved the variety of sports balls to play with. Our artistic students enjoyed the sidewalk chalk to help brighten the outdoors. Lastly, our intrinsic students enjoyed exercising outside with the jump ropes.

Thank you for helping to make this possible.”

  • Book Club

    Funded Sep 27, 2023

Thank you so much for your generosity. With your support, I was able to foster a love for reading through book clubs.

Every three weeks my students were able to choose the book that they wanted to read. This determined their groups. They met with their group on Monday to discuss how much they needed to read through the week. On Friday, they would discuss what they read, what they found interesting, and try to determine what the next reading would be about.

Not only did this build their love for reading, but this supported their growth as individuals and strengthened their communication skills and collaborative skills as well.

This wouldn't have all been possible without your help.”

  • It's Raining, It's Pouring

    Funded Feb 15, 2024

Thank you for your generosity. I cannot wait to tell the class that they have a plethora of activities to do during our indoor recess days. They will definitely enjoy indoor recess now, with the floor puzzles, different building materials, as well as drawing materials. Thank you all again for making this possible.”

  • Poetry Please

    Funded Dec 5, 2023

Thank you so much for your generosity! I just shared this fantastic news with my class and they cheered. They are absolutely going to love this set of poetry and I can't wait to share this experience with them. You have just made 19 bright readers very happy. Thank you again for supporting our class.”

  • Home Away From Home

    Funded Jun 29, 2023

When my students saw their classroom for the first time, they looked so happy and at ease. I keep our fluorescent classroom lights off, and keep a combination of lamps and string lights on for a homelike feeling. We have all enjoyed the calming classroom atmosphere made possible by our floor lamp, borders and positive poster set. The sensory stickers on their desks have helped in moments of anxiety or when feeling the need to fidget.

We have our birthday wall set up and they enjoy looking at it, comparing birthdays, and anticipating theirs. My students have thoroughly enjoy receiving their birthday bracelets and birthday badge sticker on their special day.

My students are striving in the atmosphere that your generosity helped to create.”

    With gratitude,

  • Snack and Learn

    Funded Dec 18, 2021

Thank you all for your kindness and generosity. Your donations made it possible for me to provide snacks to my students for after-school tutoring.

Our school is referred to as a third-staggered school, which means that our school day begins at 9:15 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. Students that attend tutoring stay from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays which makes for a very long day! The snacks help them to refuel and provide them the energy they need to keep pushing through the early evening. My students love the fun and healthy variety of snacks they have received.

    Thank you all!”
