Colorful Indoor Garden
Funded May 6, 2024Thank you so much for giving my students a colorful indoor garden and the supplies they needed to complete in our district wide science fair!
They were able to print their presentations in color! Being able to show their plant growth as well as their charts 📊 charts in color made all the difference. Having a beautiful presentation gave them the confidence to be successful!
This experience has built their confidence alms will surely spoil over into other parts of their life!
Thank you from my heart and theirs!”

This classroom project was brought to life by General Motors and 2 other donors.Butterfly Garden
Funded Feb 15, 2024This was an amazing project!
Watching our butterflies grow from caterpillars to chrysalis to butterflies was a great way to learn about and experience the concept of the life cycle.
I find that hands-on learning and use of the kinesthetic sense creates long lasting learning memories. My goal is to create lifelong learners, and this is the best way to do that!
Children remember what they enjoy. Children internalize what they remember.
What are the proudest moments for any teachers when she or he hears her students talking about something they learned when they're at recess or lunch or in the hallway. Hearing children speak about academics for leisure shows that they are excited about enhancing and expanding their knowledge.”

Hydroponic Garden/Lab
Funded Feb 14, 2024Where do I begin? Having stools to sit on in the laboratory, made the students feel like a real scientist. We are in a real laboratory after all.
The clipboards make it more comfortable for them to work on the rug while sitting on those comfy cushions! And come on walking around with a clipboard, can't help but make you feel official! They love that!
You made a difference! You made a big difference!
Learning simply must be fun! in my classroom it's a must! When students are comfortable and happy learning comes easy!”

Indoor Gardening with Young Scientists and Farmers
Funded Feb 10, 2024The students absolutely love these grow lights!
The lights are in a timer so that our vegetable and herb garden get enough light to perform photosynthesis even on weekends.
As part of our science, fair groups of students performed experiments involving their plants. One group decided to turn their grow white purple to see if it helped the plant grow faster. It didn't, but the plant did well. It grew just as fast as the plant under white light.
These lights made a gigantic difference in our lab! Thank you so much!!”

Ms. Kuhn
