Being Prepared for Technology
Funded Oct 24, 2018I wanted to thank you for your generosity. The technology infused in the classroom because of your donation is extraordinary. The students are able to use the iPad to incorporate technology in centers. The students are able to implement district wide programs that will help them improve in the reading and math skills needed for growth and learning. The keyboard benefits the students that are having a hard time with the touch screen. Of course, having a strong case will strengthen the length of time the iPad will be able to withhold all the students that use it. Lastly, the laptop and case benefits the students that have a hard time with the iPad and enables them to also access district wide programs.
THANK YOU”

This classroom project was brought to life by Chevron Fuel Your School.Kindergarten Techies
Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you so much for the two Ipads and the laptop. My regular and special needs students have been using them for district wide programs and assessments. The ipads each had their own hard shell cover that was also donated. This will prevent the Ipads of getting damaged. Since, the students are in Kindergarten and are 5-6 years old, this is very important. This he students rotate in groups to be able to use the ipads. Donors choose has made an impact in the classroom and the students by donating these items. I greatly appreciate everything that was donated.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Ripple.Kindergarteners At Their Best 2016!
Funded Oct 17, 2016Thank you for the donations to "Kindergarteners at their best 2016". Thank you for your generosity. The donations are greatly appreciated. As you can see in the pictures, my students are really enjoying these materials. They are utilizing all the materials donated to better achieve their goals. The jumbo pencils have helped the students with fine motor skills issues. The hands on teaching globe, butterfly garden, and base ten blocks have made the concepts easier to learn. Everyday, the students beg to go to centers and use these materials on a daily bases.
Thank you again!”

Catching Up With The New Generation Of Learning & Technology
Funded Oct 9, 2015I wanted to thank Chevron for giving my students the opportunity to use a laptop for computer programs and resources that are extremely useful for the Kindergarten curriculum. The laptop has helped all the students including the special needs students complete their classwork at their desk independently.
The carpet has brightened up the classroom. When the students listen to stories or are engaged in learning centers, they enjoy sitting on the carpet instead of the floor. The students use the carpet as a nice, clean area for story time. The center activities are very useful when doing differentiated instruction and small group instruction. These materials are helping all types of learners engage in classroom activities and set the foundation for success. The students with disabilities participate in a regular classroom setting. These donations encourage young learners and students with disabilities by facilitating their learning.
Thank you for making my job easier and fun!”

Reading Awareness Is The Way To Go!
Funded Dec 3, 2013Thank you for you generous donation. The students have been able to work in small groups and collaborate with each other using the resources I requested. The students worked in literacy centers. They used the boards to write words and sentences and have shown encouragement in their writing.
These literacy centers have helped them become better readers. The students have really enjoyed using the tablets to play various reading and word recognition games. The camera was used for them to video each other in different role playing activities.
My students are very eager to learn. I feel like I have given the students the opportunity to be able to learn while having fun. They love using the computer and working in cooperative groups. These resources have helped tremendously increase students' perform. It has also has given them confidence to try and read more.”
