  • Take it Back to Printing!

    Funded May 10, 2024

You have made it so much more accessible for our students to print. It could not have come at a better time. As our school is pushing for more student work being displayed, this gives us an opportunity to print our online work and show case it. This also creates opportunities for students to use speech to text features and then be able to print out their assignments.

This has also helped us create more interactive pages for our assignments. It creates opportunities for other learners to have their online work printed.”

  • An Apple a Day

    Funded Jun 8, 2024

Oh my goodness. It has been such a learning asset for our students with IEPs. It has allowed them to use text to speech a lot quicker and easier. It has also helped them complete many more assignments. I am super glad that this project was funded for our students to use. Our students are also able to manually write with the apple pencil that I got them as an accessory.

I am super grateful for this learning opportunity for our students. Some of them find it easier to type on an Ipad than on a computer. I am amazed at what they can do with our tool.”

  • Café Mode

    Funded May 10, 2024

Our students are so eager and excited to use these headphones for independent work. They all keep asking for time to listen to their own music. When students use headphones, their focus levels are at an all time high! I really enjoy seeing them so engaged and focused with the material.

I think that you have contributed to our highest success this semester through these headphones. As our students learn to be responsible for materials, they are also learning every day skills. I cannot explain how much they care for these headphones and this resource.”

  • "Smells Clean in Here"

    Funded Sep 3, 2023

Thank you so much for your donations. This year, my students were 6th graders! They're not used to going to different classes every period. I wanted to ensure that they had a clean start to every day by using all of the cleaning materials to clean off any residue from their pencils or art projects we may be doing. This will ensure they feel comfortable and safe no matter if they are far from home. My students have noticed the change in our classroom since our tables can go from dirty to clean overnight! They love our fresh-smelling classroom and like to see it clean they always want to help me clean!”

  • Fresh Start for the New School Year!

    Funded Aug 20, 2023

Thank you so much for your kind donation. Starting at a new school for the school year is always challenging. Your donation eased my class and students into the new school year. The materials that you have donated made it possible for us to have everything we needed to jumpstart our year. The students were so excited to see they had clipboards for their gallery walks and enough pens and pencils to keep us afloat during the transition from being in elementary school to middle school. They thought that the poster markers were the coolest. This could not have been done without your help and support!”

  • 8th Grade Done! What's Next?

    Funded Jun 26, 2023

Thank you for all of your support. It means a lot for my students to be able to see themselves as graduates. Even though it is just middle school, it made them excited to think about high school graduation. I'm hoping that that excitement continues so that they pursue higher education. Pictures that were taken and displayed throughout means a lot to my students because they are able to see where they came from and compare that to where they are headed! Individually writing to students also made a huge difference for them. It calmed some of the nerves of being a high school student. I am proud to have been able to motivate my students to do better and that couldn't have happened without your donations!”

  • Let's Dance

    Funded Jun 15, 2023

Thank you for all of your support! We appreciate your donation to our program. You have made it so much easier for our rehearsals so that we can hear our music. We feel as prepared as ever to perform for our peers and/or other events like parades. Our marching, our taped poles, and the ability to hear our music really make a difference for our conditioning. We look forward to continuing to grow our program using your materials. With better equipment, we feel ready to take on more performances and more challenging routines!”

  • Back to the Basics

    Funded Apr 27, 2023

Thank you so much for your support in getting more classroom essentials! It means a lot for us to have things to use for the rest of the school year.

Our classroom is nicely organized and decorated thanks to your donation! It also makes it so easy for us to have a print-rich classroom. As middle schoolers, the additional guided notes or graphic organizers that are printed out help us learn with more ease. You directly changed how we learn in class this year. Students who require additional accommodations also receive that with the graphic organizers.

With all our sincere gratitude, thank you for all you did for us this year.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Karen Orozco

  • We're In A Jam! We Need A Printer!

    Funded Sep 21, 2022

Thank you so much for your donations. You have made a difference in our classroom.

This project helps us get the materials that we need for our classroom. Recently, our school duplo has gone out of service and it has been out for about two weeks now. My students and I do not have to worry because we are able to print from our classroom.

It has been amazing to have access in our classroom. We also used it for our door decorating competition and it has been amazing!!!! We are able to create projects and make beautiful art. We are also able to share our resource with other teachers too! We appreciate all of the support we were given !”

The importance of the ARTS. A struggle in communities like ours. To be able to put on a show with music and performance. We, the Marching Band and Colorguard, always march with our best foot forwards (the left)! In order to do so, we are constantly trying to obtain materials for our groups. The Marching Band programs in our community are being underfunded and placed on the bottom of the list. However, we always encourage our students to be successful. We work hard to meet our need and the school's needs. A program like ours is not falling back, it's moving forward. The Colorguard team is in need of equipment to put on these shows. They use lipstick to enhance their looks and our show! As we grow, we need more equipment, like the rifles and poles posted above. We need equipment bags because our students are getting confused with criminals using rifles and sabers. For the safety of our students, we are asking for help, for YOUR help. The shoes and gloves will help those who could not afford to purchase their own and will be loaned out. Without your support, we would not be able to continue. Our time for competition is coming. The stadium is ready for us. We, the Santee Marching Band and Colorguard, may now take the floor in competition!
