I teach general music to students in grades K-5 at multiple elementary schools in my district. Students in grades K-3 receive music once a week for 30 minutes, and students in grades 4-5 receive music twice a week for 30 minutes. In some school buildings, I have a music classroom where I teach my music classes. However, in other buildings where there is no available classroom for music, I push my needed teaching materials on a cart and teach music in each grade-level classroom.
