Our STEAM Lab has brand new tables. We want to keep them in the best shape possible by covering them with clear protectors. These very sturdy table toppers will actually do more than just protect our tables though! They will also give us a way to organize our tables and assign jobs. Since these are clear protectors, we will be able to place instructions and labels underneath. The tables in the STEAM Lab have assigned and labeled seats. But sometimes fidgety hands peel the label off the tables.
Thank you for helping making our STEAM Lab and fun, colorful, and organized learning environment for my students!”

Thanks so much for helping me keep everything organized and in its place! There are so many pieces and parts involved in running a STEAM lab classroom, and having a variety of ways to organize and keep these small parts are greatly appreciated. We organize our classroom with tables colors - violet, blue, turquoise, green, yellow, orange, and red - so having the colored pouches will help us quickly identify what supplies go to each table. The permanent markers will help both with organization AND with also outlining artwork as well.
Thank you for supporting my classroom!”

We love our "smelly" markers! The kids get very excited to use the Mr. Sketch scented markers. Of course, there is always time spent smelling them and guessing their scents or flavors, and passing them around to each other. They like to tell which is their favorite and which ones they don't like. Sometimes students leave the room with colorful dots on their noses, but the dots will wash off, no harm done, and they have a little fun. We use the markers for posters mostly, but also for coloring our name tags and cover pictures for our folders.
Thank you for helping us replace our last sets that are not as bright and low on ink!”
We all need to measure up to be successful. This project's main focus is on building our capacity for doing measuring activities and data collection. We often will conduct experiments and activities where it is necessary to measure larger distances, and our puny tape measures didn't quite do the job accurately. Students were needing to mark and end spot and then add more measurements together, which is a useful skill to have, but isn't the focus of our need to measure. Our timers also have dead batteries as well, and relying on the Chromebook timer wasn't really accurate.
These new measuring tools will help us to be more precise and also get to the heart of science - data - faster.
The addition of adding a color printer to my classroom immediately brightens up the whole environment. The printer has so many different uses as well. Along with being able to print activity pages, worksheets, labels, and more, I can also use the printer for cut and print with the Cricut. Additionally, the printer has a scanner and I can make copies. This is much more than my regular classroom printer, which does help with bulk, black-ink printing, but that is about it. I also really like the new ink tank printers, rather than the cartridge printers.”

Cutting down the clutter in a STEAM Lab is always an essential need. We have so many little moving parts and pieces that can easily get lost or misplaced. By helping to get some organizational tools for use in our classroom your contribution will be felt for many years to come.
The Cricut Joy is an essential piece to labeling and organizing in my classroom - but also adds a bit of "Joy" as well. It can be used for so many different things, and I greatly appreciate your help in making this project possible!”

I want to thank you for providing some brand new tables for our STEAM Lab! These tables will help to differentiate between the various teams (red, orange, yellow, green, blue/aqua, indigo, and purple). We have a carpet that matches and also helps with the same. This is a rainbow STEAM room of color!
The tables also will be a little different size than our old ones and will give a little more open space in the main floor area and easier to walk around, but still give plenty of space (wider by shorter) for our projects.
Thanks again for all that you do!”

I teach science to all grades, TK-5, at our small elementary school. The students come to the Science Lab once a week for 1 hour or more each visit. Our school has a wide range of students in its population. We serve neighborhood children, military families, and students from areas of higher poverty that ride the bus to our school by choice. We have many cultures represented on our campus, free and reduced lunch for a little over half of our population, and a strong military family representation. Many of our students have a parent deployed. While our elementary classrooms focus on all academic areas, including science, the Science Lab is dedicated to the enrichment and enjoyment of both science and engineering, and challenges students to be flexible and creative problem solvers.
