By having Scientific Calculators in the hands of my students on a daily basis, my students will be able to become proficient at using the calculators to help them solve mathematical problems. As 7th graders they will be allowed to use Scientific Calculators on our state test at the end of the year. Using a calculator throughout the year to build fluency will help to prepare them for the test. Scientific Calculators will help to build proficient mathematicians and they will help improve test scores. It is going to be amazing to watch my students growth when using the Scientific Calculators.
