Fun in the Classroom
Funded Apr 22, 2024Thank you for your donations. The resources that you have provided have helped my students be more organized and have fun in their education. One of the bigger hits is the mini violin. Students love earning a chance to use it and have it for the day.
The popdarts have been a great learning resource. We have been able to have a lot of fun with them. We use them in our lessons and our reviews. We have different competitions to earn points and the engagement in our lessons has been awesome.
Once again, thank you for your donations and support in my classroom.”

Funded May 9, 2023Thank you so much for your donations. My students have been able to read these great stories. My students from last year and this year have enjoyed these new additions and the year has barely started. One of the favorites has been the quest series. Using these books, my fifth graders have been able to practice their reading skills that include predicting, summarizing, connections and so much more.
With these books we have been able to do teacher read a louds, group readings, as well as students just enjoying these books on their own. Students have been able to love these stories and change their passions for reading. I do have a handful of students who have enjoyed some of these books so much that they have made it a goal to read the entire series this school year.
Once again thank you so much for your donations and the impact you've hade on my students.”

Funded Apr 8, 2022Thank you for your donations for the Cricut Maker. With this Cricut the students have been able to make custom stickers so that they have something extra to work for as well as a quotes board to help inspire us in our school and work. Students have really like working with the Cricut and learning a about a new piece of technology. Students have been able to make cards for those in our school as well as using the lettering to make signage and posters for our hallway and our group work.
Using the Cricut has brought my students closer together because it is something that they work together with. They get to experiment and learn something new with someone they might not have before. Once again thank you for your donations.”

Social Skills for Students
Funded Jan 19, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donations. My students have enjoyed being able to use the items we have received.
The Apple Pencil and the Magic keyboard have been great for students to work with during math and in small groups. They are always wanting to participate by writing and typing on the iPad and having it go directly to the whiteboard or to show the groups what they are thinking.
The Colored chairs have been amazing. Students are more comfortable at the back table for reading as well as having the chairs take up less space. Students are also always taking these chairs throughout the day to work in group projects around someone else's desk. Through out the day I am always having students ask if they can take one of the chairs.
The most popular item, the QBall, is a big hit in class. Students are actively engaged and participating because they want a chance to throw and catch the ball. Students love that they can be physical and throw things while they are learning.
Once again thank you for your donations to my students.”

Funded Jan 10, 2022Thank you so much for your donations to my students. With the iPad my students have been able to track their fitness. They have tracked their sit-ups, push-ups, and plank times. We have also been able to record some of our running times. This has helped my students want to improve because they are able to see week to week their improvements.
With an iPad having so many other uses, my students have also been able to use it in math. We downloaded a whiteboard app and the students are able to write on the iPad and have it go directly to the board to show what they are thinking and how they are solving.
What's most exciting is that kids are able to track their personal progress and its always something they are looking forward to. They are having competitions with other students in class, which pushes them even further. Once again, thank you for your donations.”

Funded Oct 22, 2021Thank you so much for your generous donations to our classroom. Since receiving the new books the students have constantly been checking them out. Students are more interested in reading and are trying to get their hands on their new books. Everyday students are able to read once they have finished their book or even during our reading block. During these times there is never a fight to get the students to read. They gladly grab their books and dive in. These books have taken students into a new world to explore. Luckily, since most of these books are series the students don't have to stop reading. They are able to grab the next book and dive back into their reading. Once again, thank you for your donations to help our classroom library.”

Visualizing New Worlds
Funded May 4, 2021Thank you for your donations for the Oculus Quest 2. My students are super excited about this VR Headset. My students are from a low income area so the majority of them never get to experience high technology or go on trips out of our state. The Oculus Quest 2 will allow my students to explore the world that they might never get a chance to see.
My students are super excited about the deep ocean and the earth. With this headset my students will be put directly in front of some of the greatest world wonders to explore and test.
In this changing world students are getting more and more attached to electronics and they can serve a great purpose to our education. My students are good with technology and are super excited to have the chance to explore with the Oculus Quest 2.”

Funded May 4, 2021Thank you for your donations for the 3D Printing Filament. My students have been looking forward to getting more. This filament is helping my students think outside the box and explore new science and STEM in our world. They love how they can create something and make what ever they want. With this filament my students are able to continue to explore and imagine. They are also excited about the new colors of filament that we are receiving. We have only had black filament in the past. Once again thank you for your generous donations.”

Funded Apr 19, 2021Thank you for the Creality Ender 3 V2 3D Printer. My students have been so excited every day to see what we can make and push our printer to the limits. Even though we have only had this for a little while, my students are learning so much about this new idea. Your donations have sparked interest into science back into my students. Every day they are exploring new things into the 3D printer on how we can make better prints and how we can push the limits. My students are most excited that they take a roll of filament and can create what ever they want. They get to see overtime as the printer builds their projects. Once again, thank you for your generous donations.”

Visual Team Work
Funded Feb 1, 2021Thank you so much for your donations for the AOC Curved Monitor. With this monitor my students have been able to work in their group settings much more efficiently. Students have been able to spread out and look at a bigger screen so they can all see what's going on instead of looking at a little 11 inch screen. The students have really enjoyed the screen when they are editing or watching the videos they have created as well. Another great thing about the monitor is that I do not have students arguing and fighting over who is in front or who can and can not see. Once again, thank you so much for your generous donations.”
