A wide variety of students in our school and on my caseload have a need for sensory supports and sensory input. These Calm-Me-Down Kits will provide students the opportunity to find something that can help calm their nerves or anger while in the classroom. Other students just need some extra stimuli to help them focus and complete their work. Some students may need to keep those hands moving to while listening to whole group instruction. The Calm-Me-Down Kits will help students in a variety of different ways! Have you ever been in a meeting at work and hear someone clicking their ink pen or tapping their feet? Those co-workers of yours need extra sensory stimuli...just like my students. I want to teach them how to seek and get the sensory input they need in a correct manner. The Calm-Me-Down Kits will provide resources for my students in order for them to stay calm and focused in the classroom.
