I know some people may be thinking...why should I sponsor a tablet when that is what most children play with most of their time outside of school. Playing games is not what I want this for. I will be using the tablet as a reinforcer for students who show great behavior such as completing their work, helping others and assisting the teacher. Some of my students have a hard time doing their work or transitioning. The tablet would only be used for five minutes per child. Some students struggle learning the alphabet, numbers, colors and more. I will be downloading only appropriate educational lessons and activities that students will benefit from such as ABC mouse and Lexia. Thank you!
