• iPads For IXL Math & STmath Group Rotation(Part 3)

  Thank you for the positive impact towards my classroom. My students will be able to use the iPADs to do STMath, IXL, BrainPOPJr. and more. These online learning platforms

  provide interactive programs where my young students have easy access to practice problems on the actual concepts they are learning in class. They give a variety of problems, and when a student misses the problem, it explains what they did wrong and how to correct it. This is going to be great during small independent group rotations in class.

• Students' Portfolios

  I would like to thank you for your support of this project "Students' Portfolios." It's important to give our students a way to showcase the work they've completed to their parents during open house. These portfolios give our students a place to organize and store their work throughout the year. When we have conferences, I can also go straight to the portfolios and share it with their parents. These portfolios are individualized, which gives our students their own personal space for storing their work. Thank you again for your generosity.”

• A Penny a Day Goes a Long Way

  This project is going to be great! This year I am going to implement the idea of earning pennies for good team effort in the classroom and on the playground. My students will having a blast adding and collecting their coins at home to save them in their star shaped banks. Thank you so very much for providing this fun learning experience for my wonderful students. They will be provided with some excellent tools for financial literacy that coincides with doing the right thing and making good choices. • Books Promote Healthy Reading Habits

  Thank you so much for your kind donations. My students were so happy to have the books to read in the class and at home. They have been excited to have hard copy books to read in our classroom library regularly too. They have also been more motivated to write and share about what they have read in front of the class.

  In addition, we have the Huff N Puff Reading Challenge campaign and they've been checking out books to read weekly and fill out their reading logs.

The prize reward system motivates my students to stay engaged and participate in class. Thus, they can reach and exceed their educational expectations.
