A wedge board would allow the artists of GAMS to learn how to handle clay. This will better prepare them for middle school. We have limited resources for our art room budget, and a wedge board can't be used from the budget at this time. If students were to wedge their own clay in the art room the would be able to have a better understanding of what exactly clay is. Without wedging the clay out first, students run the risk of having excess air in their clay and having their projects crack and break in the kiln. Please help us equip the GAMS art room for a better learning experience!
