  • Supplies 2 Thrive

    Funded Aug 13, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom project for materials to stock our supplies for the school year. Your donation assures that I can give my students the best learning experience. We use lots of paper, pencils and laminating sheets yearly and this helps out so much.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Handley

This classroom project was brought to life by Wing 2 Wing Foundation and 3 other donors.
  • Air Quality Control

    Funded Aug 13, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom project for a new dehumidifier. During the warm months our classroom gets humid and makes for an uncomfortable environment (sometimes our posters fall off the wall too). This will help keep our classroom comfortable thus allowing us to have a better learning experience.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Handley

Thank you for your generous donation to our classroom project. TPT is a great website for so many resources to enrich my students learning. With your donation we will be able to purchase new hands on activities, STEM projects, practice sheets, and so much more. Thank you for supporting our classroom!”

  • Keeping Clean Where We Convene

    Funded May 8, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation. With your contribution we will be able to more easily maintain a clean classroom environment. My students will learn the value of healthy habits as well as responsibilities in the cleaning of our classroom.

Again, thank you. You are making a difference in lives of my students.”

  • Comfort Kits

    Funded Jan 24, 2024

Thank you for your generous donations to our classroom project. With your help we were able to put together ten comfort bags to give to foster children.

My students learned about kindness and how even just one small act of kindness can change someone's life.

We did a lesson on kindness and giving to others. After this my students and I put together the comfort bags. These bags included snacks, stuffed animal, fidget toys, coloring books, games, color pencils, and a small calm down kit. My students even made cards to put into the comfort bags.

Again, thank you for your support in helping us help others.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Handley

This classroom project was brought to life by The Allstate Foundation.
  • Classroom Rug

    Funded Jan 24, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our classroom rug project. My students say it's very soft and comfy.

My students love to sit on our rug when they read or have free time. We use it everyday for groups. Sometimes we even do some yoga. The rug was a wonderful addition to the classroom when we had indoor recess. My students would lay on the rug or sit and build with blocks. They help keep it clean by not taking food or drinks on it and they always make sure they put their activities away. Our custodian vaccums the rug every evening.

Again, thank you. Without your generosity this wouldn't have happened.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Handley

  • Classroom Essentials

    Funded Jan 7, 2023

Thank you for your donation towards our classroom essentials project. We have been able to use every single item that was sent to us. We've used a lot of copy paper to paint, print games (like bingo and task cards), data sheets, work/color sheets, and even some cute decorations for our affirmation station. We use the sticky notes to mark pages in our books. The puck lights are a great visual reminder to the students to keep their voices on the appropriate level. The sand timers and chime works perfectly to ensure smooth transitions between activities. The white board supplies come in handy every day and the carpet markers are great for managing the students during our group time. Once again, thank you so much for your generosity.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Handley

  • Snack Time

    Funded Feb 14, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation towards our snack time project. The snacks and drinks provided are enough to get us through to the end of the school year. Many of my students do not bring a snack or drink from home and when others are having their snack they feel left out and hungry. When our boxes were delivered my students were so excited. They thought it was great that people they never met sent them snacks. Without mid morning hunger issues my students have been able to focus more on doing their best work.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Handley

  • Flexible Seating for Student Engagement

    Funded Jul 24, 2022

Thank you so much for contributing to our classroom project. These flexible seating options are a beneficial resource to my students. With flexible seating students may choose which is more comfortable for them and this may change day to day. When my students are comfortable they are able to pay attention and stay engaged in learning.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Handley

  • Outdoor Learning

    Funded Mar 25, 2022

Thank you so much for funding our project. My students will be so excited. We cannot wait to get outdoors and enjoy the spring weather while we learn. I am so excited to see my students faces when they see their new outdoor area. It will benefit them so much. Again, thank you.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Handley

The science and literacy resources I chose will have a positive impact on our classroom. The letter and pre-writing stones will be used in our writing center. By finger tracing the letters on the rocks students will be able to become familiar with the lines and strokes that create a letter. The gel writing pad will also make learning to write our names engaging and fun. The magnetic shapes and little bricks will be a great addition to our blocks center. My students will become little engineers when discovering these new building tools. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Thank you for reading about our project and any donation is greatly appreciated.
