  • Colorful in Kindergarten

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

Thank you so much for your generosity. With your donations, I've been able to purchase ink and toner for all of the kindergarten classes at my school. Our students have been able to seamlessly flow between units and different chapters of study without hesitation. Gone are the days of rationing copies, ink, and begging for replacements that never come. The recent budget cuts to New York City Public Schools have been devastating, but thanks to you all, the kindergarten students at my school have been able to navigate this school year with ease.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering me and my students when you made your donation!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Griffith

  • Distance Learning in 2020

    Funded May 5, 2020

Thank you so much for your donation! Your donation make it possible for me to survive the spring as a fully remote teacher. I spent the spring creating fun, interactive lesson plans for my students. Your donation also made it possible for me to video chat with my students on a regular basis.

Since school has started in the fall, your donation has made it possible to stay up to date on planning, meeting virtually with colleagues, and preparing interactive activities for our Google Classroom page. Without your donation, this would have never happened!

My kids and I are so thankful that we have this technology to support our learning. Thank you for your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Griffith

The materials I am asking for are very basic classroom supplies that will help my students each day. I've asked for a rug for my students to sit on in our meeting area several times a day. I've asked for pencils, erasers, and crayons. (You'd be surprised how often those things go missing with first graders!) Organization and storage bins are to keep our books, notebooks, and papers neat. Especially because my students move back and forth each day from my classroom to my partner's classroom, materials are often lost in the shuffle. This project will help keep our classroom organized and provide extra materials for students who may have forgotten or lost their pencils. I'm at a new school this year and had to leave behind materials that I've used the last couple of years. These materials are essential!
