My classroom is shared with seven and eight year olds in a suburban community school. Our population is experiencing dramatic change and growth in at risk populations including students who are homeless, economically disadvantaged, and/or who are learning English as a second language. Our school prides itself on being an integral part of the community and a place that values all students, parents, and staff. It is our classroom and school mission to provide each person with the tools and skills to use their unique gifts and abilities as a vital contributor to society, both near and afar.
