I am in my sixth year teaching and lucky to get to teach an amazing group of kids every day. My class is very diverse with a wide variety of interests. We are studying reading strategies, ancient civilizations, writing multi-paragraph essays, learning to use mentor texts with our writing, and learning to dig deeper with books to help us become analytical thinkers. We are embracing technology in our classroom and using math and science to become better readers and writers.
