Rather than reading the adult version of the bestseller, "Unbroken," we would like to provide our students with the young adult adaptation of the book. The story and central themes are the same, but the vocabulary and rhetoric are more conducive to learning for our students. Drawing students in and maintaining their enthusiasm is a challenge every day, but with the correct tools, this is very possible. We strongly believe that by providing the young adult adaptation of "Unbroken," students will be better served, as they will grasp the content, big ideas, and meet the learning objectives more readily and assuredly.
