My students are so excited and energetic to learn and play everyday! This school year is very different from past years. Our school district has created classroom cohorts which means all classrooms are social distancing and wearing masks while constantly washing and disinfecting hands, toys and surfaces. So, we have a large field for student to play in since we need to share the playground with the other kindergarten cohorts. We only get to use it once a week. We don't have any sports equipment to play with during our recess time. The recess equipment that I have chosen will promote gross motor development as well as social emotional development. I ordered a large cart to transport the field equipment to and from the field. I have included soccer balls, nets, frisbees, hula hoops, rings, balls, bubbles and chalk.
