Learning on the Go: Providing Portable Lap Desks
Funded Oct 31, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom! Your support has made a significant difference in the lives of my students.
With your help, we were able to purchase ECR4Kids Portable Lap Desks to create a dedicated mindfulness space in our classroom. This space has become a haven for our students, providing them with a quiet and calming environment to do work.
Your donation has not only provided our students with a physical desk but has also fostered a sense of community and support within our classroom. We are incredibly grateful for your generosity.
Thank you again for your kindness and support.”

Funded Aug 15, 2023THANK YOU SO MUCH! My project was fully funded before the start of the school year which provided opportunity for new students to have access to new headphones. Our school started a new reading program and it has a digital component. Students are able to use the headphones to listen to audio books or even use the headphones to block out background noise. Many of the students also brought their own headphones but they all want to borrow the class headphones! I can't thank you enough for your generosity and constant support.”

Funded Nov 29, 2022Words cannot express how thankful we are for the folders. We have been working all year trying to help the students stay organized as they get ready for middle school. The students were jumping for joy when they got the folders. Some of the students said they felt much more older and the folders were just like binders. We were able to put labels for each of the section and they were able to organize their work according to the subject.
It helped the students who were losing and leaving things at home since all the work was together.
We thank you for your support~”

Funded Oct 25, 2022Thank you for taking your time to look at our project. We did not think we will be able to get the lap desks funded in 24 hours! We truly do have some amazing parents! Students were buzzing with excitement when they first saw the lap desk and it's holder. They didn't understand what it was or even how it was used. However, the students were able to learn and love them quickly.
Currently, we have 12 lap desks for 32 students so these lap desks are used on a first come basis. We are hoping to get more lap desks in the future it possible.”

Supplies for SEL
Funded Feb 7, 2022Thank you for your generous donation. We were able to make our old crayons and colored pencils into brand new colored pencils and crayons just by using the new sharpeners. We did have some struggle with the crayon sharpener but we were able to trouble solve very quickly. I spent few days to sharpen hundreds of crayons that was sitting in the bottom of the bin to bring new life to them. The students were so excited to use the crayons and pencils to create a bully poster for Respect for All week. Thank you once again!”

Digital Portfolio for 21st Century
Funded Dec 10, 2019Words cannot express how thankful I am for your donation. We are departmentalized for English and math class for the first time this year. Students change classes between two subjects. Many of the students have been adjusting to changing classes but many students are struggling. Students are losing their work that needs to be review with their parents or things are just not going home. We recently took a math test and one of my parent asked if they can review the test with their tutor. I was so excited to email the scanned test to them.”
