I love teaching first grade! Most of my students are adjusting to the rigor of first grade, while others are coming to school for the first time. My students are not only learning the foundations of reading, spelling, and math, but socially interacting with their peers. They love their center time where they can work together in groups, especially the creation stations! While there is a wide range in economic status in my class, I do my best to make sure every student has the tools they need to succeed. It's such an amazing time to watch them learn and grow!

About my class
