Learning is Cool!
Funded Jun 28, 2024We are so thankful for your kindness and generosity. Your donation to our classroom has made a world of difference. We have started this school year in August, making our classroom extra toasty in the beginning weeks. This new air conditioner has changed our learning environment in such a big way. The students were so excited to see the new air conditioner, along with our new donated materials. It has started this school year off on such a positive (and comfortable!) note. We are so grateful for these wonderful gifts and can't wait to continue using them in the future years to come!”

Flexible Seating for Growing Minds!
Funded Sep 6, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation to fund our flexible seating! The new exercise balls and wobble stools have been such a positive addition to our learning environment. The students utilize these seats daily during small group instruction. They are always so excited to come into the room and choose which seat feels best for them that particular day.
These seats have been so helpful in allowing the students to move their bodies, while still focusing on the lesson. It is not easy to sit for long periods of time, so these new seating options have made all the difference.
In the future, we want to continue growing our flexible seating options by incorporating things such as bean bag chairs, bands for desks, and wobble seat feet. We as a classroom community are so grateful!
On behalf of room 301, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

Funded Aug 23, 2019I feel so overwhelmed by the love and kindness that you all have shown my students. The materials we received have helped tremendously in so many ways. The beginning of the school year is a stressful time for everyone, especially my group of students. Thanks to all of you, they were relieved to know that they did not have to worry about getting school supplies. The folders and composition books have been utilized most frequently, as they are keeping my students organized as they are beginning to learn how to switch classes this year. They are also very excited about having white board markers and pens of their own, and the astrobright paper has allowed our classroom games to be more visually engaging. As a group, we truly cannot thank you enough for setting up our school year to be a successful one!”

Colorful Visuals for a Colorful Bunch
Funded Aug 22, 2018Thank you so much again for your generosity. The color printer has added so much to my students' learning experiences. It has enhanced their motivation in an enormous way and as a special education department, we have seen a huge increase in completion of independent work. It is amazing how something so simple can keep students wanting to learn. Recently, we utilized the color printer to publish "Life Charts" containing visual representations of each students' hopes and dreams for the future. The color printer added such a special touch to this project and the students were so excited. I hope you all know how much your donation has impacted our school community. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!”

Funded Sep 21, 2016I would like to formally thank all of you who so generously donated to Room 200. We have received our stability chairs and have been using them daily. When the chairs first arrived, the children were ecstatic and jumping for joy about the addition to our classroom. They could not wait to try them out and get a chance to use the new chairs. These chairs have specifically been a key component of our small group work in the classroom. During both guided reading as well as math groups, the children are permitted to utilize these chairs. The stability chairs have proved useful for those students who struggle with focus and attention as well. Both my co-teacher and I have witnessed firsthand what a positive impact these have had in relation to academic success for these students. In a school district where funds are so scarce, even the smallest changes can make the biggest of difference for these students. Again, I express my deepest appreciation for your kindness and generosity.”
