My students motivate me just as much, if not more, than I motivate them. Most of our school qualifies for free or reduced price lunch. The majority are from low-income households with many being raised by a single parent. Yet, with all of these obstacles that they face, they are relentless in overcoming those obstacles. They are not always presented with different opportunities that a wealthier school might be privileged to. It's for that reason that I aim to introduce them to as many different activities that I can. I want them to find their passion, stay motivated, be excited about physical activity and leave my school with the knowledge of how to lead a healthy life.
