Our class loves to document things in our science journals! We routinely explore the outdoors and bring nature into the classroom. The children had so much fun documenting the color-changing leaves this fall. Now that the weather has changed we are looking for more things to explore!
We have been studying environments for the past month and would love to document a tadpole's journey, as well as observe a leopard gecko eat and grow. We will also learn about the different environments these animals need to survive.
There will be a lot of opportunities to compare and contrast the two species as well learn about the responsibility of caring for Earth's creatures and their environments. Many of the students do not have appropriate outdoor clothing, so winter gloves will help them be able to continue to explore the outdoors!
