Physical Education Equipment Needed
Funded Jul 21, 2024The Physical education equipment that we received was a huge lift for me and my students in the physical education class. To get the equipment necessary to run a PE class that the students need to be successful in school. With this equipment they were able to use for the units that they enjoy the most at our school, since we have proper equipment again.
The students were excited that we had equipment again since we did lose our equipment last year due to flood and mold. This equipment was great to receive. They students really appreciate the new equipment they received this year they are taking care of the equipment better the they have since we have been at the school. This is all possible because of you.
We are now starting to have class competition class verse class. Which the students love and is teaching them so much more the just the sport itself in the classroom. All because we have enough equipment again in certain sports to have this all possible.”

Funded Sep 12, 2024This year with the equipment that was donated to us with the generosity of many of you we were able to bring back a lot of things the students love to learn to the classroom. With this equipment more students were able to participate more because we had more equipment for them to use. Which meant more participation and less waiting for each student.
When I showed the students the boxes and the equipment inside of the boxes they couldn't wait to use the new equipment and were excited for each unit coming up to use the new equipment. They remember last year we lost all of our equipment due to a flood and mold in our gym which really had the students miss out on a lot of things in Physical education class.
With the appreciation of this equipment and the students taking care of it the will now be able to learn many different units for many years to come like, basketball, football, soccer and many other things again. Thank you.”

Funded Jul 31, 2024The students at my school were able to start a after school club that is able to have 30 students playing badminton once a week for the rest of the year. This is the largest club that we have in the building of all the clubs. This club gets to bring a lot of students together that and work on skill that are not just about badminton but give them a chance to socialize out side of school.
When I showed the students the rackets for badminton and the correct shuttlecocks and nets that we had for the club, they were so excited. Because in gym class and last year in the club unless students had their own racquet they had to use a mini tennis racquet to play last year. So they really enjoyed using the correct racquet for the first time. This was exciting as a teacher.
Our goal now is to create intramural badminton club. I have had students ask if we can have other schools play against us that would be the progression we can have if I start talking to the district about this opportunity this is all because of your donations thank you.”

Funded Oct 27, 2021This past month my students and I were able to final work on are basketball project. For the first time since I have been at my school we were able to have a basketball for each student in the class. This was very exciting for me because that meant all my students were going to participate at the same time and enjoy learning so much more.
When I first showed all the basketballs that we had this year by having them against the wall when they came in the were excited. I told my students how we got the equipment and also that we have specific balls for our males and females of the class. Most of my students did not know prior to that day that basketballs had different types sizes for different competition because we only had one type of basketball at our school. They were very curious once they were able to use the correct basketball and immediately noticed a difference in their performance.
With all the basketball donated we were able to have each gain confidence in playing basketball and learn new games that they can play using basketball. Our next step is to use this confidence for student to look forward to coming to class and trying new things.”

Funded Apr 8, 2022I am excited to to say that the Let's Play Ball "Baseball" project has been fully funded. I would like to thank everyone for their generous donations. Sweat Pants to Play!
Funded Sep 2, 2018I would like to tell the impact of your donation on my physical education class. With your donation I was able to purchase sweat pants of all sizes to make sure that I don't have any students unprepared for gym class. The goal was accomplished due to your kind donation. This has effected many of my students that come unprepared to due the fact their families can't buy them sweat pants.
Knowing I have full participation in my class everyday in all my classes, is due to you, thanks. All my students are getting A's in my class and getting to exercise twice a week in gym class. It has help students with their behavior in school and my class. I can't thank you enough for your kind donation.”
