  • Incentives & STEAM Materials for Motivation

    Thank you do much for your generosity. My students love having time for STEM time to be creative. We often write about the items that are created. The supplies allow our class more tools to use that help build the connection of science and social studies. The pictures are from designs created with the materials during Peace Week. Students then wrote about what they created and why it related to peace. Finally, they did a speech to share their knowledge. It was awesome.

    The other items were incentive tools for our classroom store/reward system. It encourages positive behaviors in school.”

  • Hands-On Inquiry in the Classroom

    Thank you so much for helping our classroom. Every day we use the whiteboards to solve problems, work together, and complete quick checks of understanding. The students were very excited to get the materials and to know that they have tools to help them to be successful in third grade.

    The manipulatives, STEM supplies, and magnets have positively impacted our science lessons and exploration. I watch their eyes brighten when they know that it is time for scientific exploration and discovery. I have never seen students so excited about science.

  • Hands-On in the Classroom

    Thank you so much for assisting our class with the supplies for STeAM. We have been able to complete multiple projects over and over again due to the plethora of materials. My students love using critical thinking skills to work through problem solving skills and use higher level questioning with their Steam materials. Each day they walk in and see a stem challenge waiting they are excited to hear what challenge that they will be doing.   • Exciting and Equitable Distance Learning Materials

    Thank you so much for funding our project. Distance learning as been a learning experience for us all. Your funds helped me to purchase engaging online activities to help my students to thrive in this new online platform.

    My students enjoy our fun learning activities online and I have great attendance daily with my lessons. They are excited to try some of out online escape rooms and find the materials to be meaningful.

    Right now students are engaged in Boom Cards, which are self-checking online task cards in different subject areas. The kids really enjoy playing the games while learning!

  • Storyworks Junior Magazines

    Thank you so much for contributing to our project. My students are excited as they read the magazines and get immersed in the stories and additional videos on the Storyworks website.

    When we opened the magazines for the first time, my students gasped at the colorful pages. Already they are eagerly discussing the research of ideas that are found in the magazines for further investigation.

    I love that when I tell my students it is time for reading, and to take out their Scholastic Magazines, they immediately grab them and are ready to learn. Thank you so much for helping to get colorful, enriched magazines in the hands of my students. I know that they are on the path to becoming investigators and life-long readers.”
