Owen Scholastic Academy is a Kindergarten through Eighth Grade School. The students at Owen are eager, well rounded and creative. They are truly the Best of the Best! I work with diverse learners in the general education setting and in small group. They have difficulties in reading, writing, and mathematics. I have a wonderful group of students who get along well, look out for one another, and strive to do their best in academics. Technology enhances the lessons and content being covered within the classroom. Working with students with special needs, I have seen how beneficial technology is in education. The benefits, especially for the IPAD in a classroom, really are endless. “We need technology in every classroom and in every student and teacher’s hand, because it is the pen and paper of our time, and it is the lens through which we experience much of our world.” – David Warlick
