My class is a self-contained special education that is part of District 75. I educate students with autism, emotional, and behavioral challenges, Intellectual Disability and Multiple Disability.My students ages range from 5-21 years of age in class ratios of 6:1:1, 8:1:1 and 12:1:1 I am a cluster teacher and teach technology about 100 students a semester. Technology is a broad term but my job is to expose my student to as many programs and teach them the skills that they can take with them when they leave our school. Lessons range from various topics like digital citizenship, creating digital posters that tackle a sustainable world, about cultures through monecrafyalways considering our students abilities.
