All students should love reading. One way I am planning to promote that love of reading in our 4th grade classroom is making our library engaging and accessible to all. This will take time, that is certain. This project however will allow me to start the process. Children deserve to see themselves represented in literature! Whether they see a character who looks like them or speaks the same language, many of these books include characters who my students will be able to relate to in one or more ways. Please consider helping me create a library that will allow all of my students to feel validated and inspired.
