Tiny Techs
Funded Feb 15, 2019My students and I would like to thank you for your generosity and support in our classroom. Thanks to your donation, my students no longer have to share devices or take turns when it is their turn in the technology center.
One of their favorite ways to use the iPad is during reading stations. They are able to play one of their favorite reading games, Smarty Ants! Students also enjoy using an app that allows them to choose a book and have it read aloud to them. Young children want and need to hear stories read aloud to them.
There is one more thing that I plan to teach them to use and that is creating characters and setting pieces and turning them into movies using green screen apps. This will take their ability to retell to the next level! None of this would be possible without your support!”

Going Virtual
Funded Aug 30, 2017Thank you so much for your generosity. My students are now able to explore environments that they may never see in their lifetimes. This amazing experience helps to encourage creative as well as informative writing. We have had our virtual reality goggles sitting on the shelf, now we will finally be able to put them to use!
My students love being able to extend their experiences as they learn about environments by researching using their new Chromebook. It is great that they will familiarize themselves with this device because it is used often in many older grades.

Funded Oct 9, 2017Thank you so much for your contribution to my classroom and students. With your donation I was able to purchase challenging STEM kits for our future engineers. They get so excited when I pull out our STEM buckets. It is great to watch them plan, develop and problem solve as they work on their cars, bridges, and houses just to name a few. Students are so proud of their creations that they will always ask to take a picture of their project!
With the 100th day of school coming up, I plan to use these materials to challenge them to build creations with 100 pieces! I know it will be so much fun. So thanks again! Without your generosity, none of this would be possible!”

Collaboration in Education
Funded Oct 9, 2015We are so pleased to accept your donation. Providing us with tables and chairs has changed our day together tremendously. My students are able to work collaboratively with each other while all of their tools are handy. They are comfortable and are able to really all feel part of our classroom community.
The looks on their faces were priceless when I told them that we had received the donation. However, the cheering that went on as the tables and chairs were actually delivered was even better. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!”
