  • Color Toner for the Technology Room

    Funded May 12, 2016

Thank you so much for your generous donations. I am looking forward to printing out scholars work to post around the school. Please be sure to check their work that will be displayed around the school, if you come to visit. We are looking forward to being able to print their work and projects. ”

  • Camcorder for Digital Citizenship

    Funded Apr 11, 2015

My students used the cameras that we received to create PSA's on cyberbullying. They learned the process on using a storyboard and transferring it to a movie. Students learned the four signs of cyberbullying are flaming, deceiving, harassing and hate speech. Students used the cameras to display and bring awareness to cyberbullying. They create short PSA that allowed them to display how cyberbullying can affect someone not only emotionally but physically. Students were engaged and willing to work on their own while creating this project.”

  • Printer for the Technology Class!

    Funded Jan 7, 2015

Thank you so much for the printer. My students love the printer! They were excited that they were able to print out their projects in color in class. They love how quite the printer is and that it prints so well. Students have completed a few projects already and are asking to print the work in color for not only my class but for other classes. I am able to think of more projects that require color printing for students. I am able to print their work quickly and post it on the board as soon as they turn it in. This printer has allowed us to print our projects in class and students love to see their work right away.

Again thank you for your generous donations.

I teach middle school computers in NYC. In total I teach a total of 345 students. Our school is committed to have students become well rounded individuals that involve technology in their education. Our students come from all over the world and represent the diverse population of New York City. My students are hard -working and eager to express themselves. They are thrilled to see their work published and displayed on our bulletin boards. Since some students do not have access to the technology at home, my goal is to provide them with the ability to print their work in school.
