Classroom Materials Needed for the Love of Learning

When the students first opened the packages and saw the different resources within the boxes their faces lit up with excitement! They were eager to begin using the books, iPads, and the different resources with one another.

The resources that we were able to receive helped my students out tremendously! The iPad app for Bob books has allowed for my students to have a hands-on approach with their learning. They were able to listen and create the words using the digital tiles within the app. There are so many apps that have helped my students practice their skills while having fun! The different pencils and notebooks that were ordered have definitely helped improve my students with their fine motor skills.

The iPad's have definitely kept my students engaged with their work as well as provided them with a strong sense of citizenship. They have learned to take care of their belongings and of the items in the classroom. They love working with one another by sharing the different books.

This project boosted my teaching experience by using a more technological hands-on approach within my lessons. Writing has always been an area of frustration for my ELL students because although they are able to verbalize their thoughts, they often face difficulty putting them down on paper. With the use of the iPad, my students have been able to record themselves as they verbalize their thoughts. Then students were able to read out their thoughts! As a teacher, watching my students begin to read their own thoughts has caused me such great joy! Especially when the students no longer depended on the help of an app to begin writing.
