  • Light Up for Learning

    Funded Jan 10, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our project. The LED lights have been amazing when we attached them to the desks. Students are easily able to ask for help or let me know they are ready to move on to the next step, without having to wait with their hand raised. I was worried the students would just play with them, but after the first few times, they know when and how to use them correctly. They have really been a good addition to our Innovation Lab for all grades.

Thank you again for supporting our students”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Muncy

  • Print Perfect!

    Funded Jan 10, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our project. My students love to see what the 3D printers are printing, and this cart made it easy for me to bring the printer to them. They really are amazed to see something created from nothing, and witnessing this first hand, you could see their minds spinning as they thought up new things they could make. The cart really was a great addition to our innovation lab, and is a great reminder that sometimes a simple solution can spark great ideas. Thank you again for your generous donations.”

  • If You Build It, They Will Come

    Funded Dec 25, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting my students STEM adventures. They were so excited when the LEGO bricks and baseplates came.

Once I had the LEGO wall up, they could not wait to start building on it. They really enjoy this as a free time activity, and they often choose it when they need a break.

It's very fulfilling to watch the students imagine and create and having the baseplates be vertical instead of horizontal really makes the students think in an entirely different way. The creations that result are truly unique.”

  • Fun in PE!

    Funded Jan 26, 2022

Our students are so excited to have this new PE equipment! The giant soccer ball is so much fun! It is way harder to play with than one would expect. It is heavier than a beach ball, but it is more like trying to play soccer with a beach ball instead of a soccer ball. The sidewalk chalk serves two purposes. It lets our PE teachers draw boundaries for new games on the blacktop, but it also gives kids a chance to draw and have fun on the blacktop. The handballs are a huge hit and the bright colors are a welcome sight on the playground. The hula hoops are much harder to hula than I remember. Some of our kids hula with ease, and others are working on get Thank you for getting our kids active outside! We appreciate it and will use the equipment for a long time!”

  • Poo Projectiles

    Funded Dec 28, 2021

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our Poo projects. This whole week has been filled with "poo" and we are having so much fun! TK and Kinder made (clay) animal poop, 1st grade made monkey catapults from spoons, popsicle sticks and rubber bands that flung "poo" pom-poms, 2nd grade turned the lab into a robot zoo, and 3rd grade programmed the robot animals to escape from their cages and fling "poo" at the unsuspecting zookeepers! It was poo-tastic! This has to be one of my favorite all time projects and can't wait to do it again next year!”

  • Did You Say "More 3D Printing?"

    Funded Dec 22, 2021

Thank you for your generous contributions towards our Innovation Lab and this project. With the addition of another 3D printer, we are able to greatly expand the number of designs that we can print, bringing 3D printing experiences to more students than ever before. They really love that they earn "Design Time" and make whatever they want! There are so many possibilities.

Thank you for encouraging their love of learning about 3D design and STEM. These are subjects that will carry forward with them throughout their life!”

  • UV 3D Printing Fun

    Funded Dec 13, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting my students in their STEM adventures. In the past, we only had white printer filament, but now there as so many possibilities and it really has expanded the range of designs they are making and printing. They love the new UV filament and we even got some temperature colors changing filament that we can use to explore some fun science experiments.

Our Innovation Lab would definitely not be as interesting without amazing donors like you and we are forever grateful!”

  • Not Just Any Straw House

    Funded Dec 26, 2021

My students have really enjoyed these new STEM supplies. I am fascinated with the structures they are creating, from tall buildings (taller than them) to rollercoasters to rocketships. It is such a pleasure to see them create with any restraints. These straw construction sets have worked across several grade levels, and they never fail to amaze me with their imaginations. I can really foresee many more building days in our future. Thank you again to all that supported us in our healthy STEM adventures.”

  • Peg Perfect! Designing to a Tee

    Funded Dec 30, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting my students. They really love this Peg Board design space. I had thought that only the younger grades would enjoy the activity, but I have many upper grade students stopping by just to make a design. It has been truly wonderful watching them work together to make peg board pictures. It is great because it is so open-ended, and really only their imagination is the limit. Once they see what other students have created, they get inspired and either add on to their designs or start a new one.”

  • Robot Organization

    Funded Nov 18, 2021

Thank you so much for your generous donations to my students STEM experiences. They really love to program with our Edison robots, and these storage boxes made it so much easier for them to use our building kits to create some really fantastic robots. Without the organization boxes, the students were having a hard time keeping track of their pieces, and many parts got lost. This had made is so much easier for them to build, and as a result, we are able to accomplish so much more during our Innovation Lab time.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Muncy

My project is for supplies to use with our Wonder Robots in our Innovation Lab for project-based learning. This year the students will be introduced to both programming skills and design skills with Wonder Robots in their project-based learning adventures. The Wonder Workshop Build Brick Extensions and Technic Series Parts will be used by the students to design and build special attachments onto the robots in order to have the robots do specific tasks. The 20 compartment roll file cart will help the students keep their robot mats organized so that they will be ready to begin their project-based learning lab experiences in a timely manner.
