  • Creative Building (2)

    Funded Mar 27, 2024

Thank you so much for your kind and generous donations to our project. The students were so genuinely excited to discover the Rigamajig basic builder kit that we were able to purchase because of your match. I am looking forward to seeing what they design and build with these imagination inspiring supplies. The first project I have planned is for them to build a giant maze for them to program their robots to travel through. This will be extra exciting to see as we just got our Innovation Lab space remodeled, and they will have so much more building room to let their imaginations soar.”

  • 3D Is For Me!

    Funded Mar 27, 2024

Thank you so much for sponsoring our project and donating to help us get 3D printers. The students love to design and print creations, and having 2 more printers will really help us to be able to get more printing done. The latest projects that the 3rd graders are working on are designing their own custom bubble wand, and the 6th graders are being challenged by having to design a pencil holder that can hold 3 pencils.

The students really cherish the creations that are made, and many that have made keychains in 4th grade still have the keychains on their backpacks years later.”

  • Fearless Girls

    Funded Mar 27, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our project. The girls had such a fantastic and fun evening learning about themselves and each other. It is great to have a night where they can feel empowered and bond with each other over common goals, dreams, aspirations and even problems.

Your donations helped us to provide them with necessary hygiene supplies as well as fun self-care items that they could use to pamper themselves and shower themselves with love.

Again, thank you so much for your generous donations to our Fearless Girls project!”

  • Don't Stare at the Sun

    Funded Mar 27, 2024

Thank you so much for your amazing donation that made this project possible. The entire school was so excited about being able to view the solar eclipse today. Many of the other schools in our district did not even allow students outside for fear they may get eye damage, but every single one of our students was able to safely experience today's natural wonder. There were so many happy and thankful faces today that I lost count of the "thank yous".

These glasses and solar paper truly made a huge difference in what our students were able to see today, and hopefully created wonderful memories as well.”

  • Books Wanted for Inchy, Our Book Vending Machine (3)

    Funded Mar 2, 2024

Thank you so much for funding our school's book vending machine, Inchy. Our students love earning tokens to go to Inchy and to pick our a new book for home. Our students can earn tokens by being ready, respectful, and responsible. They also can earn a token by turning in their reading calendars and we celebrate each student's birthday with a new book.

It is fun to see our students gather around Inchy and talk about the titles that are on display. They debate which book is best and why. The conversations centered around books are priceless.

As each student retrieves their book from Inchy, they do so with a sense of pride. These books become an important part of their home libraries.

    We appreciate your generosity!”

  • Books Wanted for Inchy, Our Book Vending Machine (5)

    Funded Feb 14, 2024

Thank you for supporting Inchy, our book vending machine! The timing is perfect. At the start of every month, we give a book to each student who has their birthday during the month. We also give out books to students who turn in 3 of their reading calendars.

Inchy has been a huge motivator to get reading calendars turned in, and we love that our students are reading! Being able to add these new titles in Inchy helps to keep our students excited about earning a book.

We appreciate the difference you are making for our students!”

  • Lights for Lunar New Year (part 3)

    Funded Dec 31, 2023

Thank you so much for supporting our students in their Innovation Lab experiences.

At our school, all grades of students love to come to the iLab and try their hand at different design technologies, ranging from Lego to electricity to coding, and sometimes combining all three!

One of the favorites of the 5th graders is our Tinkering Motors kits, where they can use their imagination to create egg beaters, cars that draw, and catapults that fling. The kits are very open-ended so it's great to see what they can come up with.

They are so excited to add another element to their electrical circuits and motors with these LED light kits. Motion and lights are such a fun way to bring their creations to life.

Thank you so much for funding this opportunity for them.”

  • Lights for Lunar New Year (part 2)

    Funded Dec 31, 2023

Thank you so much for supporting our students in their Innovation Lab experiences.

While all grades of students love to come to the iLab and try their hand at different design technologies, the 5th graders especially enjoy our Tinkering Motors kits, where they can use their imagination to create egg beaters, cars that draw while they move, and catapults that fling.

They are so excited to add another element to their electrical circuits and motors with these LED light kits because motion and lights are such a fun way to bring their creations to life and really expands what they can do with these kits.

Thank you so much for funding this opportunity for them.”

My project is for supplies to use with our Wonder Robots in our Innovation Lab for project-based learning. This year the students will be introduced to both programming skills and design skills with Wonder Robots in their project-based learning adventures. The Wonder Workshop Build Brick Extensions and Technic Series Parts will be used by the students to design and build special attachments onto the robots in order to have the robots do specific tasks. The 20 compartment roll file cart will help the students keep their robot mats organized so that they will be ready to begin their project-based learning lab experiences in a timely manner.
