  The impact that has occured due to the generiosity and love in your hearts! My students have been able to enjoy their day in the classroom. The students enjoy their materials and use them as both positive reinforcement, art projects and sensory play. A couple of my students have stopped certain maladapative behaviors using the materials purchased! Our class requires many different ways to keep our students happy and learning. We appreciate ,so much, being able keep our class happy and loving school!”

• Keep Calm and Plug In!

  Funded Nov 6, 2019

  We received your amazing gift of funding right before the pandemic closed school houses in Florida. When we received the project, my students were ecstatic. They were able to use the games for behavior incentives, and we got so much done. As we await the opening of schools hopefully in Fall, the use of these games will be back in full rotation, helping them get excited about their time and responsibilities in the class. They could not believe we were the only group who has access to these games and they ( and I ) were thrilled at the different ways they could be used throughout the day. This year, the kids will already begin earning future time in class ( by virtually doing assignments and following rules) with these awesome items.

  We cannot thank you all enough for this and it has made a huge difference with our special kids!

• Keep Calm and Create On!

  The most generous donations we received have impacted our classroom in so many ways. My students have resources to do art projects and crafts that could previously have only been done in art class, if lucky. We received a multitude of different materials that have expanded the minds of my young learners. Not to mention, these materials are not only being used to create,but also to calm and relax when needed. Due to the nature of my class population, sensory and calming activities help my students to perform their very best. We have had the opportunity to create clay figures and make molds of these. Once completed, we were able to cast our lucky charms in resin plastic, for each student to keep. There is no amount of words that can produce the gratefulness my class and myself have for these items. Making my class smile and feel their best always is my top goal. Once we are in a happy place, we can begin to truly grow.”
