  I wanted to let you know how much I truly appreciate your donation towards books for our classroom! It was so exciting to open up these books and preview the blurbs, covers, and titles of each! These books will work to not only diversify our 5th-grade library for students to enjoy during their own reading time, but I have used so many of them already as texts for our read-aloud sessions. These books have really been a window into so many interesting perspectives that are not heard enough, and we are thrilled to be able to experience each!

• Recreating a Live Classroom Experience With an iPad

  I really am so appreciative that you donated this Ipad to our classroom! Remote teaching has many barriers, and this iPad has helped me to circumvent so many of them! I am able to annotate and write directly on the slides and assignments we are working on, something that was so hard to do without this iPad! I can also use it as a second device to join more than one small group at a time, which is so convenient!

I recently attended a workshop that highlighted active learning spaces and how they improve the health and learning outcomes of students. Since then I have been on a mission to create a flexible learning space for my students. While some things are quick fixes, this does also require some resources that I can't acquire on my own. I am so grateful to have donors like you that are willing to help me achieve this goal in my classroom.

• Active Classroom for Active Learning

  Thank you for donating the 6 Hokki Stools to our 4th grade classroom. I would have never thought that stools would create such excitement and enjoyment for my students, but this was exactly their response. We have created a schedule to share these stools and the students are so excited when their day comes up! The stools have really given the students a great way to release their energy and they really love them. I am slowly trying to convert my classroom into a more flexible classroom space by giving my students various seating options. I would not be able to do any of this without the generosity of donors like you!

• Help Us Get Technology Into Our Classroom

  Thank you for your generous donation to our school. These laptops have already logged hour and hours of use and are currently being shared by two classrooms, so they have helped over 60 students this year already!

  4th graders are sharpening their math skills, publishing their writing to share with the world, and are learning computer programming and robotics with these powerful machines. None of this would have been possible without your generosity!

  We at Brooklyn Arbor are working hard to make technology an integral part of our curriculum, ensuring our students are equipped with the skills and knowledge that they need to enter the ever changing workforce. • Making STEM and Maker's Space Projects!

  First of all, thank you for your tremendous generosity. Our classroom has been completely changed with the addition of the MakeyMakey invention kits! My 4th graders have had such a great time inventing, creating and designing with these kits. Students have made guitars out of cardboard boxes and tubes, music instruments with water and up-cycled yogurt cups, and Musial art paintings that come to like when touched! We have learned so much about circuitry and innovation, and it is all thanks to your donation.

• Spark Our Learning With Technology
