Calling All Kindergarten Students- Let's Find Out!
Funded Aug 12, 2021Friday's have always been my favorite day of the week... but not thanks to you and your donation it is also my students favorite day of the week! We have a class spirit day and we complete a Scholastic Let's Find Out Paper. The papers make them feel grown up. It's like they are adults and Scholastic Let's Find Out is their newspaper!! Currently the topics are simple reviews from Pre K; colors, numbers, five senses... but soon the topics will advance and my students will be learning more than they knew possible.
Continue to check back and see my future projects. I have a lot of great things planned for Kindergarten this year!!”

Funded Aug 12, 2021My students are so excited when they get to choose where to put their work on the walls. They love seeing their work hang up and I'm pretty sure it makes them try even harder on their next assignment. :) Having the step ladder makes it very easy for me to safely hang up their work and then replace it with another piece of their work~ I can't thank you enough for your donations.
Without your support, none of this would have been possible!! Continue to check back with me and see what other amazing projects are going on for my students. It's going to be an amazing year in Kindergarten!!”

Funded Aug 9, 2021Thank you so much for all of your support!! My students are so excited to have School Supplies arriving at school... it's like it's Christmas time in our classroom. The items are a blessing to the students- they will never be without pencils, crayons or the other tools they need to promote learning!
The students are excited to know that when they're highlighters and markers run out of ink from all their hard work, they do not have to stop learning. But instead get a new writing tool and continue on!
Continue to check back with me on future projects. Great things are in store for my students!”

Funded Aug 10, 2021I am forever grateful that you chose to donate to this project. It may seem funny to some, but socks and underwear are just as important to a Kindergarten child as pencils and crayons... I love knowing that because of your generosity my students do not to be embarrassed for forgetting items. Or embarrassed that they had a bathroom accident and then get sent home.
My students will be able to get them items they need and then get right back to do what they need to do~ LEARNING!! We have a lot of amazing things to learn this year and they will all do great!!
Please continue to support educators like myself and check back to see what other projects I have upcoming!”

Funded Jul 29, 2021I can not thank you all enough for your generous donations. I am so blessed that so many of you were able to give through all of these hard times. The students know that they are extremely lucky to receive these learning tools and are so careful using the items. (They are like precious jewels to them and smile from ear to ear while working.)
Math Centers have become the students favorite time of day. They love using the new math tools and find so much enjoyment with the magnetic numbers and counters. Not to mention the translucent numbers and pattern blocks under the document camera keep the students eyes glued to my lessons!
When I think past this school year and on towards the rest of my career... I know these items will continue to bring joy to many. Continue to check back in with my project page and see what other exciting items I hope to have funded for my students in the future. Thank you for supporting public school education!”

Funded Jul 29, 2021I can not thank you all enough for your generous donations. I am so blessed that so many of you were able to give through all of these hard times. Your generosity will make a huge impact of the lives of my students. The students are going to be able to check the books out to bring home and share with their families. ( I can't wait to see the titles listed on their Book Logs and I'll know that it was made possible because of each of you!)
When I think of the books the students will be receiving, my mind instantly goes to the Author Studies... Author's that I grew up loving as a child and no that they will share my joy! Books by Dr. Seuss, Paul Galdone, Donald Crew, Eric Carle bring tons of fun and excitement to children when they read. Along with the NonFiction texts to showcase vocabulary and the world around them.

Funded Jul 23, 2021I can not thank you all enough for your generous donations. I am so blessed that so many of you were able to give through all of these hard times. Your generosity will make a huge impact of the lives of my students. The chair pockets are going to allow them to take ownership over their school supplies and their "personal areas." They are also going to lessen the spread of germs in the classroom.
The white boards and dry erase markers will not just benefit one part of the school day, but the whole school day! We will use them when focusing on sight words and building CVC words. We will use them when focusing on number and letter formations. We will use them for drawing FUN things! (The Kindergarteners always get excited about free drawing on white boards.)

Funded Aug 24, 2014Thank you so much for your generous donations!! I feel very blessed that so many of you donated to my project. I will forever remember receiving the email saying the project was fully funded and then the day the project came. That day my students had the biggest smiles on their faces that I had ever seen. They couldn't believe that strangers would be so generous and want to give them a present. Then when the boxes were opened and they saw what it was... they just gasped! They couldn't believe all the items we received: the stand, the books, the cd's and the headphones!!
We use the Listening Center as part of our daily reading routine. The students feel proud and grown up when they visit the center. They wear the headphones proudly and each student holds their own book. When center time ends, they never want to leave because they are so engrossed in the stories. A few will even ask for a few extra minutes so they can finish listening to the book. It makes me so happy, that I always say yes!
When I think about the future, I think of how many more students will be able to experience the joy of visiting the listening center and falling in love with books and it makes me smile. So much that I need to say thank you to all of you one last time, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!”
