I promise that my students will thoroughly enjoy using these supplies to calm themselves in the calming/peace corner, as well as learning while using their senses in various hands on projects daily! This classroom project was brought to life by Perry and Donna Golkin Family Foundation and 10 other donors.

Chair kick bands, colored sand and massage balls/brushes will aid my students to master what they need to learn the best that they can. Having the ability to move and touch using multiple senses during instruction is essential in my classroom. Most importantly they will have the tools they need to calm down, attending to their emotional needs, so they can get back to learning. Basic supplies like copy paper and various tape will be vital in literacy and math centers, as well as visual aids hung up around the room and on their desks. These supplies addressing sensory, emotional, and basic classroom needs will be such an asset to each students sucess this year.
