The students I teach are considered "at risk". Our school has a large minority and low income population. Our school is low on supplies, and we don't have the budget to pay for more. Often the families can't provide the supplies the students need because they can't afford to. Despite these obstacles, the students are happy and eager to learn. They work hard, and I hold high expectations for all students regardless of their background.
