STEM is an amazing part of our future. Over the last year, we have gathered different technologies to use throughout the school day and the after school STEM program. However, as we were playing with the different technologies and programs such as Sphero, we realized our iPads to run the programs were out-of-date. We currently have first generation iPads within our school. We are hoping if the students have effective iPads, they will be able to run the programs effectively.
Having an up-to-date iPad, will allow our students to do a variety of things. An iPad will allow our students to record their progress of their projects. The students will be able to take pictures of their work to monitor their projects. Students will also be able to use the iPad and a green screen to record videos of presentations to share with their peers. An iPad will be an effective tool to allow our 4th graders to demonstrate what they have learned throughout a unit.
