I am a dual certified regular and special education teacher who teaches third grade in a high poverty area. My students come from an economically disadvantaged and diverse backgrounds. My students do not have access to quality literature at home and many times there isn't an adult who can read to them. I want to be able to provide them with access to quality literature that they can listen to and that provides them with a model for good reading.
